I haven't ever been one for "New Years resolutions." It's always been my belief that if you want to achieve something, there's no better time to start than today. Want to incorporate more exercise into your life? Why wait until next Monday, when you can start working toward a healthier you right now? Don't feel like you have to put off self-improvement. It's going to take time to achieve your goals, and there will most certainly be obstacles and difficulties along the way, but put your mind to the things you want to accomplish, and you can achieve pretty much anything.
The above blurb was meant to be at least somewhat motivational, so I'm wondering — is it contradictory that this post is about New Years resolutions? I stand by the sentiment that you can start on the path to accomplish your goals right here, right now. I also think that a year is a good time frame to use to accomplish long-term goals. In other words, you could make "New Years resolutions" on any given day — let's say September 17th, for example — and just try to accomplish those goals by the same time the following year. Anyway....here are a few of the things I want to accomplish over the next 365 days.
